About Bocce Club Pizza
Upon returning from WWII my Dad, Dino Pacciotti, started working at the Bocce Club on Hickory St in Buffalo. The club had bocce ball courts in the yard and served drinks & sandwiches inside. In 1946, Mr. Pacciotti seized the opportunity to purchase the club. He soon found an old pizza oven in the basement and started experimenting. He formulated his own unique pizza recipe and Bocce Club Pizza was born. In 1959, Dino moved into the Bailey Ave location in Amherst, seeing the proximity to UB South campus as a big positive. In 1988, our Hopkins Rd location in Williamsville opened, not far from UB North campus. Bocce Club Pizza uses only the freshest and most natural ingredients from 100% whole milk mozzarella cheese to dough made from scrat...

We had an amazing experience at this Bocce Club pizza. Tyree was so friendly and helpful with order - we had pepperoni pizza there and then took one half baked to go to travel with. The pizza tasted phenomenal and they were accurate with their time estimates. Will definitely be back at this location! The inside is quaint and chill, and there is some patio space as well. Also, the pepperoni pizza is sooo good.

From San Diego. Researched pizza/wing places around Buffalo and decided on here. Fantastic! Horrifying amount of food! 😂 We thought we were nabbing a snack and got a buffet. Great, hot pizza with a sweeter sauce. Nice and gently crispy on the edges. Boneless wings in medium and garlic parm. Both excellent. Fries crunchy and tasted nice. Will now be eating this the rest of the day. Quiet back patio to sit and eat as well. Highly recommend!

I always come to this location and my food is ALWAYS AMAZING! Food is fresh and very good! Even the presentation is amazing! Tonight I did as usual and ordered pizza and wings! The lady who answered the phone was rude and hung up before I can even say thank you. We get home and open the box. The pizza looks like they just threw the toppings on there, it was a mess and BURNT! The chicken looked like they gave us the last batch that was just sitting there and instead of blue cheese we got 2 marinara sauces! I’m so disappointed! We did call but the it’s says they are closed. Even though the sight says closes at 12, it’s 11pm.

Nice food and service. Maybe the top2 American style pizza in Buffalo in my opinion. Also the red and black meal box looks fancy. The lunch special have a decent price.

This is a take-out pizzeria. No dining room. I ordered a whole pie with extra sauce and pepperoni browned/charred edges as Bocce Club shows on their menu and in pictures. I didn't get either. Pepperoni was barely cooked and no charring. No extra sauce. Pizza can be very good but is inconsitent in terms of its quality. Disappointing at times... great other times.
